League Table     Eastern Investment Track Record In the short period since its establishment in 1998, Eastern Investment, with 12 corporate finance professionals, has advised on M&A transactions with an aggregate consideration in excess of US$ 13.7 billion. The absence of press coverage, despite its successes, attests to Eastern Investment’s philosophy of maintaining strict confidentiality and eschewing publicity. As an advisor to a leading wireless operator, Eastern Investment played an instrumental role in precipitating the consolidation the Korean telecommunications industry and, more importantly, in cementing its client’s market position in advance of the 3G licensing process. Eastern Investment’s telecommunications team is amongst the most active in Seoul. Eastern Investment is also active in the petrochemicals industry, having closed deals worth over US$ 500 million.
